The Creative Collages Summer School Class made collage portraits out of construction paper scraps - with a twist! These are not SELF portraits, but partner portraits. Students had to carefully examine, focus, and think about how to best represent their classmate; and the other student had to graciously accept the representation that was created.

Huge shout out to our TechSperts and Library Leaders for coming in all day, every day this week to work on getting things ready for next year. We are missing a few in the pictures (sorry). They will be back later on in the summer to learn more and still have a lot to do but as of now they are on to enjoying their summer break. Mrs. Filip's and Mr. Butler's class is gearing up for 5th grade camp with tie dying and knot heads!

Remember

1st grade practiced drawing lines and shapes as well as learning how to overlap. They had choice of neon colored pencils and kwik sticks. Today's surprise was a gallery walk and neon lights!
