In an effort to expand programming options for students in the area, the Silver Lake Salem School District will be offering access to all extra-curricular programs, including sports teams and district clubs for the current school year. Any Silver Lake Salem school district resident in grades 5-8 would be eligible to participate. The Creative Collages Summer School Class made collage portraits out of construction paper scraps - with a twist! These are not SELF portraits, but partner portraits. Students had to carefully examine, focus, and think about how to best represent their classmate; and the other student had to graciously accept the representation that was created.

Huge shout out to our TechSperts and Library Leaders for coming in all day, every day this week to work on getting things ready for next year. We are missing a few in the pictures (sorry).
