idea lab

We are thrilled to announce the exciting new addition to our school's Idea Lab has arrived! We've just received a flight simulator, generously donated by the Students in Aviation (SIA) Foundation. This incredible resource will provide our students with an immersive, hands-on learning experience that goes beyond the pages of a textbook.

The simulator will enhance student understanding of STEM concepts, including physics, engineering, and meteorology, in a way that's both engaging and fun. It's a fantastic way to bridge classroom theory with real-world application, getting them excited about the vast possibilities within the aviation industry.

We are incredibly thankful to the SIA Foundation for this donation, which aligns with their mission to inspire the next generation of pilots, engineers, and aerospace professionals. We especially want to thank Joe Canepa, the founder of SIA, who came to our school to personally install the simulator and, more importantly, spend time with our our students. He not only explained how the simulator works but also shared valuable insights about the many career opportunities in aviation, from pilots and mechanics to air traffic controllers and drone operators. His passion for aviation is contagious, and his visit truly inspired our students to dream big.
