Twenty-one students in seventh and eighth grade were inducted into the National Junior Honor Society on Wednesday, October 30, at Twin Oaks Country Inn.  Students who achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.6 or higher were invited to apply. Nominated students completed an application and an essay to demonstrate how they show the five pillars of the NJHS.  Those pillars include scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship. In addition, they had to obtain a letter of recommendation.  A faculty committee reviewed the applications and determined which students met the requirements.
