Boys Basketball Recap

The Comets B-Team cruise to another victory over the host Lakewood Raiders by a score of 48-10. The Comets got rolling early with Cameron W. scoring 5 and Josh V. adding a long 3 in the first quarter.  The Comets continued to play great defense throughout the game led by Drew C., Alex W., and Brandon K.  Jaeden Z. was silky smooth running the point and had several key assists that led to easy baskets.  The Comets controlled the glass with huge efforts from Tyler P. and Jarod E. The Comets were paced by Kevin B. who dropped a season high 20 points and Kevin K. who added 8 off the bench.

The C-Team got their first win of the season.  The team played intense defense causing numerous turnovers which created fastbreak points  Trevor W. and Sean F. led the team in scoring. Mason S. hit a big basket to charge the team in the 3rd quarter and Timmy M. hit a huge 3-pointer late in the 4th quarter to send the Comets to victory.  It was a great team effort.  Great Job Team!!!
