Immigration Day was a success once again.  We managed to get all of our immigrants safely through the day.  They participated in the following activities –  Morning Reader’s Theater; Ellis Island Processing Center ; Science/Medical Station; Math Center; English Center; Art Center; Civics Center; Map Rally; and six informative and well-acted Immigration Plays.  The day culminated with a song that was led by the Junior High choir around the flagpole outside the first grade classrooms and the immigrants taking their Oath of Allegiance to the United States.  The new citizens were then rewarded with a food tasting station in the Junior High area.  Thanks to everyone who helped to make this day a success.  Please take time to watch the video of the photos taken that day to share the 7th grade immigrant’s experiences.
