B-Team Comet Classic Champions

This past weekend the Comets hosted the first annual B-team Comet Classic. The tournament was played on Saturday and was a four team round robin with Bristol, Randall, Riverview and Union Grove competing for the championship.  The Comets took first place and went 3-0 on the day beating Randall 40-34, Union Grove 38-32 and Bristol 33-32 in the championship game.  The Comets were led in scoring over the three games by Jaeden Z. who scored 36 points, Kevin B. who scored 30 points, Zach L. who added 18 points and Alex W. who netted 13 points.  The Comets got outstanding energy from the “BENCH MOB” all weekend being led by Kevin K., Josh V., Mason M., Brandon K., Drew C. and Jarod E.  The Comets also got great rebounding and defense from Cameron W. and Tyler P. The weekend wins pushes the Comets overall record to 16-4 with 2 games left to play this week against Union Grove and Brookwood.
