The Comets B-team dominates the competition en route to a tournament title this past weekend at the Bristol shootout.  A total team effort all weekend with all of the boys contributing to the victories. In game one the Comets defeated the Brighton Stars by a score of 43-19.  Devin Spath led all scorers with 14 and got some scoring help from Cal Jenkins who added 6 and Cade Girardi who netted 5.  The Comets played great defense led by John Price and Kolby Moudy who sparked a big run by taking a charge.  In game 2 we defeated Bristol 36-20 and once again Spath led all scorers with 11.  Helping chip in were JVK with 6, Joey Tanski and Zach Lamberson each had four apiece.  In the championship game the Comets hammered Trevor-Wilmot by a score of 39-16.  The Comets jumped out early and were leading by a halftime score of 24-6.  The Comets were led by Jarod Edmonds and Mason Moravectz who tallied 8 points each.  Kevin Kessel poured in five points as well as playing great defense.  Hunter Lindsay did a great job of helping run the ship in the second half.

The Riverview boys A-team took 2nd place over the weekend at the Bristol Shootout!  The boys beat Paris and Bristol to go 2 and 1 on the weekend. All the boys played great and are looking forward to hosting Raymond tomorrow night.
